Last Days in Florence

Tonight is our last night in Florence. Wow, what a city. The cuisine, the history, the art - it's all spectacular. I can't believe Chloe and I have been away over 20 days. What an incredible experience this has been so far.

Today we went to Piazzele Michelangelo which gives you panoramic views of Florence. It was amazing. It is a nice hike from where we are staying and has a good incline so we got to burn off some of the calories we've been putting into our bellies. After the Piazzele we went to Boboli gardens which also offers incredible views of the city and a beautiful, calm garden landscape. Next we went to the Accademia Florence and saw The David. It was pretty cool. Finally we came back to the bnb to rest in the air conditioning, nap and drink some water. This evening we went out to a wonderful restaurant not far from us call La Buchetta. It was extraordinary.  We had a greek salad and spinach/ricotta raviolis to start. I had the filet minot, and chloe had a sliced roast pork dish. For desert we had tiramisu. Man, we are eating good. Those pictures won't make this post, sorry.
