Heat!
The heat is wearing us out! Today we slept in big-time at the hotel and only ventured out for a sandwich and some coffee at around noon. We are being lazy today and just staying indoors. Florence is very touristy and it's high season so it's overrun with people.
Last night we had a great time at a little shop that had great wine, cheese and meats. So far evening has been the best time to do anything in Florence. It finally drops in temp (to the low 90s) but without the sun and with a few drinks in you it is easier.
A much needed fresh pressed fruit juice:
Grom Gelato. There is one in the west village so we will compare flavors when we get home :)
The Arno. It's beautiful at night, but with the water so low it's actually quite stinky.
